Vietnam suspended entry permit since Mar 2020

Entry restrictions

Foreign nationals are not permitted to enter Vietnam
All flights to Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi are suspended until 15 April 2020( may it extended)
Flights from Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi are unaffected
Entry restriction exemptions

Passengers travelling on diplomatic passports
Additional entry requirements

All Vietnamese passport holders must contact their local Vietnam embassy for approval before returning to Vietnam. (Not applicable to passengers transiting through airports in Vietnam)
Quarantine measures
The following passengers are required to undergo 14 days of facility quarantine immediately upon arrival:

Passengers who have visited or transited through Iran
Vietnamese nationals who have been to the United Kingdom or one of the 26 Schengen countries in the last 14 days
Foreign nationals who have been to the United Kingdom, one of the 26 Schengen countries or ASEAN countries in the last 14 days
All ASEAN passport holders
Foreign nationals that hold a visa exemption booklet and are not required to undergo the compulsory quarantine, or are entering Vietnam under the visa waiver programme, are required to show a health certificate indicating a negative test result for COVID-19.
Visa restrictions.

The visa waiver programme has been suspended for the following nationals:

South Korea, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom
Visa on arrival services have been suspended for all foreign nationals even if they are holding a visa on arrival approval letter

Visa exemption has been suspended for Vietnamese or family members of Vietnamese holding foreign passports.
